You'll find your Pilton holiday home comfortable,
extensively furnished and well equipped throughout.
The holiday home retains much of its original character
including stripped wooden floorboards to some rooms
and original fireplaces. Visitors to the property are
immediately impressed with the beautiful Victorian hallway,
complete with tiled flooring and high ceilings, and
an impressive staircase leading up to the first and
second floors. To the ground floor is a very spacious
living and dining area, equipped with sofas around a
large gas fire to one end, and a large dining table
and chairs to the rear. There is a television, DVD player
and CD player in the house along with a selection of
holiday reading materials.
At the rear of the dining area there is access to the light and airy conservatory,
where warm summer evenings can be enjoyed with the door
open to the garden. The kitchen has recently been renovated
and is well equipped with all the modern kitchen equipment
such as a fridge freezer, washer dryer and dishwasher.
There is an electric oven and gas hob. To the rear of
the kitchen there is a utility room followed by a downstairs
toilet and sink.
On
the first floor you'll find two excellent
sized bedrooms: a double room with fitted wardrobe
and views to the front, and a twin room with stripped
wooden floorboards, fitted wardrobe and views to
the garden. Also to the first floor there is a spacious
bathroom with a large bath and separate
shower cubicle. There is also an adjacent single
toilet and sink. To the second floor is the third
and largest bedroom which spans the depth of the
house, containing a superb king size bed and wardrobes.
A cot and highchair can be made available on request.
To the rear of the property is a charming, patio
garden with two pergolas and a variety of shrubs
and plants. There is plenty of room for outside
dining and space for children to play safely.
There is also a small rear outhouse where surfboards
and other equipment can be stored. There is
a small bar-b-que which can be used for evening
meals after a day at the beach
